Nanny Employment Process
At Nurturing Nannies we know that being a professional nanny is both a rewarding and challenging career path. Having been professional nannies ourselves, we have walked in your shoes. Our nanny employment process insures that we use only well qualified individuals and place them with families that will treat you with the respect and professionalism you deserve.
Our placement coordinator personally meets with each family in their home to ensure that we are sending you into a safe and stable environment. We will be there to support you in every step of your placement. It is important to us to create stable, long term placements for our nannies. That is why we are always available to you before, during and after your placement.
We provide ongoing education and support to our nannies through monthly support group meetings and specialized training workshops.

I have been working through Nurturing Nannies for the past 6 years. The staff is friendly, caring, respectful and attentive to the needs of both nannies and families. They took the time to know me personally, understand my expectations and limitations then matched me with great families and safe environments. Nurturing Nannies has given me the freedom and direction to apply my skills working with newborns to school-aged children to be a part of developing their minds and watching them build upon concepts practiced throughout their growth.

I worked under Carol as a Nanny for both part-time and full-time positions. She did an excellent job pairing nannies with families! Carol is very particular with who she hires, and I would trust her judgment any day. I truly enjoyed working for and with Carol. She opened my eyes to a new-found passion, and I look to her as a mentor in the her field of expertise! I have come for advice many times, and there was never a time where I was disappointed! She is a woman of her word, and has an incredible passion for what she does, and that is what makes her and her work so wonderful. Needless to say – I highly recommend!

I was 62 years old when I began working through Nurturing Nannies. I didn’t like the thought of retiring but wasn’t sure at my age if I could start a new career. I had worked many years as a caregiver for the elderly and raised my boys to be good men. Carol and her team at Nurturing Nannies gave me the training and the guidance I needed to become a professional nanny. I have now been working through this agency for the past 3 years. I currently care for twin baby girls who are a joy to my heart. They keep me active and always moving. I am very grateful that Carol helped me start over doing a job that I love. I feel like the babies keep me young. You won’t regret working with this agency. They treat you like family.
